The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for controlling heavy machinery to move materials and products around a worksite. Safely and efficiently transport products based on necessary workflows. Track inventory, inspect the product before and after shipping to identify imperfections or damage, move heavy materials around compost yard, stack product, and count inventory in stock to fill orders. Operate different heavy machinery such as front-end loaders, pre-wet turners, rick turners, bunker fillers, and counterbalance forklifts depending on the tasks they need to complete the job.
