The Modoc Nation Behavioral Health Hope Ranch is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Professional to join our team. This unique position involves facilitating experiential-based interventions, with a strong emphasis on animal-assisted and nature-based therapies. Located on a scenic 60-acre farm in Miami, Oklahoma, Hope Ranch serves both Native and non-Native individuals ages 5 and up. The property is home to a variety of farm animals and is beautifully enhanced by the Hudson Creek, offering opportunities for fishing, nature walks, and outdoor exploration. Additional therapeutic spaces include a small garden and several private, peaceful areas designed to support healing in a safe and natural environment. Mission: Our mission is to infuse hope, heal trauma, and foster growth in our community by providing education, resources, and behavioral health services. We utilize evidence-based practices and healthy connections with people, animals, and the environment to promote personal growth and wellness.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide outpatient behavioral health services to any client in focused population under assigned program including, but not limited to, assessments, screenings, treatment plans, crisis intervention, & psychotherapy (individual, group, & family).
· Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, & implementing therapeutic interventions for clients, maintaining confidentiality, & obtaining informed consent for treatment.
· Capable of identifying, responding to, & managing crisis situations with clients, including risk assessments & referrals to emergency services when necessary.
· Maintaining accurate & up-to-date client records in compliance with privacy laws & regulations and MNBH policy & procedures. All documentation shall be submitted within 2 business days of services being rendered.
· Maintain an unlimited license to practice in the BHP’s professional field.
· Maintain an assigned caseload that supports the BHP completing 22 billable encounters per week.
· Utilize personal vehicle to travel to & from community-based appointments, as well as transport clients as needed. The BHP will maintain a current vehicle insurance policy.
· Maintain an attitude that is positive, supportive, & collaborative with team members & stakeholders.
· Participate in outreach activities to educate the community & potential stakeholders about the services offered at MNBH.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
· Current Oklahoma licensure in good standing as a LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LADC (MNBH may consider unlicensed and / or out of state candidates pursuing Oklahoma licensure).
· Must have a valid driver’s license with a driving history free of accidents, violations, suspensions, or infractions.
· Must be able to pass pre-employment, annual, & random drug screening and background checks.
· Must provide documentation of COVID vaccination status or request an exemption based on qualifying factors.
COMPENSATION
$68,000 – $83,000 annual salary plus fringe benefits with the opportunity for biannual bonus. Pay is based on education & experience. MNBH will cover the expense of board-approved supervision for candidates under supervision. Mileage will be reimbursed for business-related travel.
LOCATION
This position will primarily operate from the MNBH: Hope Ranch program site, though travel may be required to off - site locations.
SCHEDULE
This employee shall maintain regular business hours (40 hours per week) Monday - Friday.
