$14+/HR depending on experience

The Shipping and E-Store Clerk will manage shipping and inventory for E-Store and other outbound shipments as required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• · Assigns pick and pull tickets to warehouse drivers based on orders in system.
• · Coordinates E-Store Operations and shipping.
• · Scheduling outbound shipments with carriers.
• · Serve as point of contact for delivery drivers.
• · Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments.
• · Carefully and accurately maintains shipping records for requested categories including returned goods, dunnage, and returnable pallets if applicable.
• · Maintains records of shipment data (PRO #, BOL, Tracking #, etc) to ensure that customer orders are updated and that appropriate billing documents are provided to accounting, warehouse manager, clients or other associated departments as required.
• · Notifies supervisor of shipment discrepancies.
• · Prepares load sheets, bills of lading and/or packing slips and affixes to shipments.
• · Transports materials on shipping dock with a hand truck or other vehicle as needed.
• · Loads trucks using a forklift as required.
• · Performs other clerical duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• · Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received or prepared for shipping.
• · Basic understanding of dock, safety and warehouse procedures.
• · Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• · Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.

Education and Experience:

• · High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• · Outbound logistics or shipping experience preferred but not required.
• · Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• · Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
• · Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
• · Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and on the loading dock.
