TRANSPORT DRIVER

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Transport individuals to & from MNBH facilities safely & effectively.

2. Develop & coordinate vehicle routes to best facilitate transportation for the greatest number of clients while keeping facility schedule accommodated.

3. Maintain & track releases of information, transportation consents, & emergency contact documents.

4. Maintain all vehicle logs (mileage, maintenance/repair, inspections, etc.) & submit as per supervisor directives.

5. Adhere to all traffic laws while operating or preparing to operate company vehicles.

6. Implement & maintain safe driving practices, to include avoiding distractions while driving.

7. Ensure vehicles are ready for daily routes, this includes ensuring vehicles are fueled & ready for use.

8. Ensure vehicles are mechanically maintained & in good working condition.

9. Ensure vehicles are cleaned daily after routes.

10. Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with passengers.

11. Provide open communication with MNBH staff regarding concerns for clients.

1. Salt & prep sidewalks in icy weather conditions for all MNBH locations.

2. General maintenance as needed.

3. Ensure compliance with HIPAA & other confidentiality regulations in all aspects of job duties.

4. Staff & support outreach activities as required.

5. Attend All-Staff meetings & all other meetings as required.

6. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Experience providing safe, efficient, & reliable passenger transportation services preferred.

2. High School Diploma & / or GED.

3. Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, free of major violations or infractions. Reliable transportation is required.

4. Ability to operate power tools competently.

5. Must be able to pass pre-employment, annual, & random drug screenings & background checks.

6. Must provide documentation of covid vaccination status or request exemption based on qualifying factors.

Compensation: $25,000 - $38,000 annual salary plus fringe benefits with the opportunity for biannual bonus.

Location: This position will primarily operate from Lost River, though travel may be required to off-site locations.

ScheduleThis employee shall maintain regular business hours (40 hours per week).

SupervisionThis position will operate under the direct supervision of the Lost River Program Supervisor.
